I’ve been designing digital experiences for over 15 years, the later 8 of these at Deloitte Digital (US and Australia). In my current role, I wear multiple hats. I am a design leader working with clients; I support business development; I’m the General Manager in the Los Angeles Studio; and serve as the UX National Lead.


Prior to joining Deloitte, I’ve worked in agencies and in-house brand-side roles embedded in product and scrum teams. I’ve worked in several industries, including technology, media and entertainment, finance, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, public sector and others.

For me, design is not just a means of solving business problems; it's a way to go about life. There is an elegant solution for (almost) everything.

  • I’m a mom: the hardest, but most fulfilling ‘job’ I’ve ever taken.

  • I’m originally from Rio, Brazil. And I am also an Australian citizen.

  • I’m a Beatles fan.

  • I love all things Disney.

  • I’m a bit of a traveller.

I’ve lived on four different continents and visited almost 50 countries. The backlog only grows! 

Although technology plays a big role in my life, I love putting the laptop away to spend time outside with my family.

I enjoy hiking and rock climbing, and I try to go scuba diving at least once a year.

2021 (Present) • Los Angeles

Deloitte Digital USA

Design Director & General Manager

Leading experience design projects across the US & acting as the General Manager in our Los Angeles Studio.

Responsibilities include:

  • Scoping, pricing, resourcing, and shaping our approach to design projects.
  • Managing project quality and risk management.
  • Leading the delivery of low-fi and high-fi prototypes, user journey flows, service blueprints, research findings, etc.
  • Hiring and mentoring resources, as well as preparing and conducting training.

Relevant clients: Disney, Sony, Apple, Google, Southwest Airlines, Taco Bell, Southern California Edison, and others.

Associate Creative Director

Since relocating to California with Deloitte Digital, I’ve led design projects and teams from discovery to delivery. Similar to my role in Australia, these projects span across Service Design, Research, UX/UI, through deployment.

2016-2018 • Australia

Deloitte Digital AUS

Design Manager

I joined DD Australia in 2016 as a Senior Experience Designer, leading complex and diverse design projects across private and public sectors. After a promotion to Design Manager, my responsibilities extended beyond project delivery, now including resourcing, mentoring, training, project scoping, pricing, and defining the design approach.

I worked across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra.

Relevant clients: RACQ Bank, Macquarie Bank, Energy Australia, Australian Federal Government, Queensland State Government, Telstra Media, and more.

Avanade Inc (Accenture)

Experience Designer

Avanade is a global technology consultancy firm owned by Accenture and Microsoft. I led a range of digital initiatives, from discovery phase through to production.

Relevant clients: Australian Federal Government, Tatts Group, SunSuper, and more.

Masters Degree

Masters of Arts (Visual Design)

Conducted at Queensland College of Art (Griffith University) in Brisbane, Australia. My milestone project focused on digital design, applied to education.

Experience Designer

I worked part-time during the first year of my Masters degree, in addition to my course load. I worked flexibly with two local agencies in Brisbane, and Agencia Amo in Rio (remote working). You can view some of these (kinda dated) projects on Behance.

Information Architecture
& Interface Design

In 2012 I graduated with a degree of Usability, Information Architecture and Interface Design from PUC - Pontifical Catholic University. My studies were financially supported by Globo, and conducted on the weekends alongside my full-time job.

2009-2013 • Brazil

Globo.com

UX Designer & Information Architect

Globo.com is the internet division of the biggest media group in South America. I worked there for 4 years, learning a lot about UX, Usability, and Agile, whilst making some great friends. The team consisted of 30+ Experience Designers and 90+ Developers.

Projects I worked on related to the homepage, the News Portal (the most accessed news website in South America), and related TV/entertainment products. These included the Big Brother Brasil website, The Voice Brasil, and other national TV show sites.

Visual Communication Design

I received a scholarship to study VisCom at IADE Creative University in Lisbon, as part of an Exchange Program offered by my university in Rio (ESPM). At IADE I chose to study elective subjects such as Typography, Colorimetry, and Branding.

Jr Art Director

Whilst studying advertising, I worked my first job (part-time) at a local full-service agency in Rio. I worked on websites, but also banners, outdoor media, print media, and email marketing.

Bachelors Degree

& Creative Advertising

ESPM (School of Advertising and Marketing) is a prestigious private university, where I was awarded a partial scholarship. My full-time degree included subjects from the Marketing and Business School (finance, economics, accounting, etc) and the Advertising School (art history, print media, photography, art direction, copywriting, consumer behaviour, etc).
